Alfie’s Family Continues To Grow!

Robert Evans is the third generation of the Alfies family. He is just about to graduate from UCF and has decided to continue in the family business. Roberts personality shines through in customer service and he hopes to help continue Alfies into the next 30 years, and give Dad a chance to enjoy his Lions Club work. If you have any suggestions or comments, Roberts the one to ask for.

Culinary Star for the Quarter

-Alfredo Victorano has been learning Alfie’s way for over 18 months now. He is in the Bachelor’s program at Daytona State college looking to get a Business Management degree. Alfredo is originally from the Dominican Republic and has learned most phases of the kitchen, by the end of the year he will have mastered them all. We are proud to see young employees strive to learn and excel. Alfredo is also learning the Business side of the kitchen with Ordering and Inventory.

Alfie’s Famous Fish Fry

Over 1 million Fish Fry dinners served. That’s right: our most popular dish, the Fried Haddock or Cod dinner has a long history here at Alfie’s. You can even try it Broiled, Blackened, or Stuffed with our homemade Crab & Shrimp Stuffing. Our guests enjoy hundreds of pounds of Haddock or Cod each week. In September 2009 we served our 1,000,000th dinner. Now we are working towards the 2nd million.

Since we started serving Haddock and Cod in Central Florida back in the 1980’s we have seen the popularity grow, but if you ask any local they will tell you we have the best! The original Alfie’s in Jamestown, New York only served it on Fridays, but should you wait ’till Friday for something this good?

We have certain days that we feature this item as a special, but we serve it every day and all day. Our chefs follow the recipe that my mom and dad started many years ago.
